The Childers and District Fruit and Vegetable Growers' Association Ltd is being proactive in the community of Education.

Our Association has funded around $70,000 worth of educational infrastructure in the boundaries of the previous Isis Shire- and our commitment is ongoing and continuing.

We will celebrate our 20th 'birthday'  in the near future.  We recently held a sausage sizzle for the students and staff at the Cordalba State School, and inspected the garden that we helped fund. The students are having a great time with the garden and the whole experience of growing- the educational benefits - apart from the growing - is also fascinating to watch. 

We also provide a service to the growing community of the area. The $ value of Fruits and Vegetable from this region now far outstrips cane- both as an income and also as employers.
